Covid-19 vaccination is being viewed with skepticism.

All changed for people all over the world in the year 2020, in early March of 2020, The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that a new deadly virus known as covid-19 had been discovered and was spreading uncontrollably, with people dying as a result. Since then, health authorities have been working around the clock to create a vaccine that will help our bodies develop immunity to the virus. Although a successful vaccine to combat the virus has been developed, a wave of misinformation on social media has sparked skepticism about the vaccination among people all over the world, making it difficult to differentiate between truth and false information about the vaccination. The aim of the Writing Space is to inform and educate people about the covid-19 vaccination.

People are understandably concerned about the speed with which the vaccination was developed, as this is the first time in history that a vaccination has been developed, tested and approved for use in humans in less than a year. A lot of unruly false information about the vaccine has created a lot of panic; one of the many conspiracy theories is that the vaccine is not safe and was developed to kill people. Another theory is that the vaccine contains the virus and that once people take the vaccine, they will contract the deadly virus, one big one that ignited a lot of debate was Bill Gates' desire to manipulate people's minds, which he intends to do by using a microchip in the covid-19 vaccination. These theories have sparked a lot of fear and skepticism, leading to many people opting out in the public uptake of the covid-19 vaccine and allowing the public to downplay the virus's seriousness.

It's critical to emphasize that vaccines are a relatively new tool in the fight against covid-19, and the safety of vaccine development is always top priority. The covid-19 vaccination was developed to save the lives of millions of people around the world, however, the general public must realise that the vaccine works by training and preparing the body's natural defenses to recognize and combat the virus. If the body is exposed to the virus after the vaccine, the body is automatically able to kill the virus, avoiding illness or even death, the vaccine will save lives and put an end to the pandemic. The writing space would like to state that all the conspiracy theories about the covid-19 vaccination are false and inaccurate and strongly urges the general population to get the vaccine.

The writing space would like to caution the public about what they read online, especially social media. You can't believe anything you read online and it's up to you to do your homework and find accurate facts about the covid-19 vaccination.

  1. The hastily development of these vaccines has brought forth a few questions in society. The media has spread these further by investigating the legitimacy of these vaccines. However, though these studies may present the truth, many falsehoods have been leading misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccines and unfortunately, people are on the fence about getting vaccinated. Good read!.

  2. Truly, people should be taking covid-19 vaccinations more seriously as it is the only solution thus far to imparting world-wide immunity. Thanks for the share. This blog brings motivation for skeptic people to neglect misinformation about the vaccine and analyze it for themselves.

  3. I think people should be informed more about the vaccine, because if they are, they wouldn't be so reluctant to get vaccinated. The information above should be spread world wide informing everyone about the vaccine.

  12. Equally important, vaccines are developed to prepare the body's natural defences , the immune system to recognize and fight off the virus and bacteria they target. It is far impossible that they've been developed to control the general population with microchip

  13. This is so imformative. Honestly I was also very skeptical about the vaccine because of the false information online, but after reading this, I actually agree with you. I think we need to take responsiblity in educating ourselves and stop being ignorant that way we won't easily believe everything we read online.

  14. I am one to back or agree with those that are skeptical about the vaccine. It is normal to question things when there is not much transparency and testing in the making of the vaccine. In less then a year; coming up with a vaccine for a new virus is quite suspicious. Yes there is better technology nowadays and better tools to assist in finding a vaccine, however, it is quite difficult to grasp the idea of finding a vaccine so swiftly for a new virus while there are still many diseases and viruses that existed before covid-19 and that are as deadly and killing many people and yet there are vaccines even today still. Moreover, how has the covid-19 vaccine vaccine been tested and approved for human use in less then a year? Meanwhile, the FDA takes at minimum 1-2 year to approve vaccines for preclinical trials. Are we the lab rat? Dan the man “would like to state that” not “all the conspiracy theories about the covid-19 vaccination are false and inaccurate and strongly urges the general population to” gain more knowledge of the vaccine, wait and then make an informed decision on taking the vaccine or not.

  15. This was very informative. I am skeptical about the COVID 19 vaccine, including those around me. The people don’t trust it. One of the reasons is that the government is not being transparent with the people
